Welcome to Willington’s first ever Arts Festival.

 

A chance for people to showcase their creative and artistic skills

An Arts and History Trail, musical events and workshops will promote a cultural event giving people a chance to experience artistic activities over a number of days

The Arts Trail

 

There will be exhibits from a wide-range of visual arts and crafts from Willington and Derbyshire.

 

Visitors will be able to purchase a trail guide, for £3, at several central points in the village.  This is the entrance “ticket” to exhibitions.  A map will show where each of the activities can be found, with a list of the exhibitors at each venue.  To add interest to the trail, it will also highlight and give details of the points of historical interest in Willington.  Every trail guide will be numbered and can be entered into a prize draw to be held during the concert on Monday evening.

Music concerts

 

Evening concerts will be staged at the Village Hall.  There will be something to suit a range of age groups and musical interests over the Festival period.
