Thursday 22nd May    -    "Real Music Club"

The real music club will be holding their normal Thursday night session at the Rising Sun.

8.00 p.m. until 11.00 p.m. Upstairs room entrance is FREE

Friday 23rd May    -    "Willington Folk Dance Club"

The Willington Folk Dance Club will be holding an additional dance to their normal monthly meeting, as part of the festival.

7.30 p.m. at the Scout Building. Tickets £1 per person including refreshments.

Saturday 24th May    -    "Creative Writing Workshop"

Short story writing in this creative writing workshop

Saturday 24th May    -    "Jemma Jane - Female Vocalist"

Jemma Jane will be performing in the Willington Sports and Social Club Clubhouse from 9pm.

Sunday 25th May - Monday 26th May -    "Bob Moulder - Caricaturist"

As a freelance artist and illustrator, I have been producing quality artwork for some of Britain's leading publishers. I will be drawing caricature at the festival for £3 per session.

St Michael's Church

There will be organ music between 2pm and 3.30pm everyday. Enjoy the music and admire floral displays and artwork, look through old parish records and have a rest and refreshment.

Face painting £1 per person.

Music in the Air

The Real-Music Club will be making ‘Music in the Air’ throughout the festival weekend. The map and Art Trail show where players will be filling the air with acoustic music mid-morning, at lunchtime, and mid-afternoon.

On Sunday May 25 from 6pm to 10pm, there will be a special, one-off, Real-Music Club concert in the garden of The Green Man, weather permitting. Admission free.

These sessions will feature the following artists:

Neil Dalton, Stuart Davis, Gosher, Matt Henderson, Graham Hodgkinson, Dave Matthews, John Orchard, Chris Payne, Derek Preston, Kris Spencer, Chris Sweetman, Robin Tymm, Terry Wood and Gemma Wylde.

Workshops

The following workshops will be held at the Village Hall from 10am to 12noon:

Sunday May 25 – Silk Painting with Delia Wellard. Admission £1, drop-in session, all materials provided.

Monday May 26 – Pottery with Julia and Rob Webster where you can have a go at throwing a pot using a traditional kick wheel. Admission £2, drop-in session, all materials provided.
